Almstead's Annual Summer Picnic
The Almstead family hosted their Annual Summer Picnic for employees and their families at Tibbits Brook Park in Yonkers, NY. It was our first picnic since 2019 — due to Covid. The event included a magic show for the children, and a presentation of service awards for 5-years, 10-years, 15-years, 20-years — and even some employees who celebrated their 25th, 30th and 35th Anniversary this year.

Annual Almstead Service Awards
Every year, the Almstead Family presents Service Awards at the summer picnic. This year we had a few more awards than usual because this was our first picnic since 2019 (due to Covid) — it included awards for the years 2020, 2021 and 2022. All recipients received an engraved plaque acknowledging their years of service. In addition Almstead staff who have worked for 20 Years, 25 Years, 30 Years and 35 Years also received cash and gifts. This year, we were very excited to honor foreman, Miguel Solorio who celebrated 35-Years at Almstead. Watch a slide show of the award recipients below.
