Our lawn care consultation usually starts with a soil test and site assessment. Soil analysis is the process of examining the main aspects of your soil in order to create the optimum growing conditions for your lawn. When determining appropriate care practices for turf, it's important to analyze the soil for texture, pH level, organic matter content, and biological activity. After our technician takes a sample, all soil tests are submitted to Almstead authorized laboratories for analysis and the client receives a detailed evaluation and recommendation report. This us used to determine the most effective course of action and how to best customize your care.

Our site assessment will include inspecting your lawn, as well as the rest of your landscape for any potential problems. These can include issues such as type of turf, difficult growth areas, drainage problems, salt exposure, compaction, and runoff. All properties are different each lawn requires a different strategy and treatment to thrive.
